The Global 5000 is the shorter-fuselage member of Bombardier’s Global family available for Mexico charter, covering 5,200 nautical miles with the wide flat-floor cabin the Global line is recognized for. For Mexico corporate travel and US leisure routes, it handles the full range of demand without the rate of the longer-range Global variants.
Bombardier shortened the Global Express fuselage and refined the wing to create the Global 5000, powered by two Rolls-Royce BR710 turbofans. The cabin seats 13 in a typical configuration, up to 16 at maximum density, with a flat floor and stand-up cabin.

Why the Global 5000 Fits Mexico
Mexico City (Toluca) to New York at roughly 2,200 nautical miles is a comfortable nonstop in the Global 5000, and Mexico City to the US West Coast at 1,500 to 1,800 nautical miles presents no range challenge. Toluca’s 8,460-foot elevation requires hot-and-high performance planning, and the Global 5000 crew will confirm departure weight against conditions before the trip. For full-payload New York-to-Toluca legs, confirming performance margins is the standard pre-trip check.
Cancun, Los Cabos, and Puerto Vallarta from any US gateway are inside the envelope without range becoming a factor. The Global cabin width and flat floor distinguish the experience from a super-midsize jet, which is the relevant comparison at this price point.
At 5,200 nautical miles, the Global 5000 does not reach transatlantic nonstop from Mexico. Clients who need that capability need a Global 5500 or longer-range aircraft. For Mexico domestic and US international routings, 5,200 nautical miles covers the full pattern.

Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
