Dassault Falcon 6X

The Dassault Falcon 6X brings the widest cabin in business aviation to Mexico charter, with an interior measuring eight feet six inches across and 5,500 nautical miles of range. It is the Falcon that handles the high-altitude Mexico City environment as comfortably as any aircraft in this category.

Dassault delivered the first Falcon 6X in 2023 following EASA and FAA certification in August of that year, powered by Pratt and Whitney Canada PW812D turbofans with EASy III avionics. The cabin seats 12 in a typical configuration, up to 16 at maximum density. Overall length is 84.3 feet, wingspan 85.1 feet. Full specifications for the Dassault Falcon 6X are published by Dassault Falcon.

Why the Dassault Falcon 6X Fits Mexico

Falcon’s short-field engineering carries through to the 6X. At Toluca’s 8,460-foot elevation, the airframe’s hot-and-high performance margins are better than many jets with comparable range, which matters for Mexico City departures on warm afternoons. The crew still completes density altitude performance calculations before each trip, but the Falcon design philosophy gives more room in the calculation.

At 5,500 nautical miles, the Falcon 6X covers Mexico City to New York nonstop, all of the US leisure and corporate corridors into Mexico, and Mexico City to London with a fuel stop. If the nonstop transatlantic is the priority, the Falcon 8X adds another 950 nautical miles for a step up in rate. For the range of Mexico domestic and US routes, the 6X carries more than enough reach.

The 8.5-foot cabin width is measurable against any other aircraft in this category. On a five-hour Mexico City to New York leg or an eight-hour Mexico to Europe leg, a group that values cabin space over the last few hundred nautical miles of range will often choose the 6X over a Global or Gulfstream of similar mission profile.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Charter Pricing Reference

Industry hourly rates for the Dassault Falcon 6X run $13,000 to $16,000 per hour as of 7/2026. Actual quotes vary by operator, routing, positioning, and date.

At $13,000 to $16,000 per hour, the Falcon 6X sits between the Gulfstream G600 and the Falcon 8X, and on Mexico trips inside its range the cabin width is the differentiating factor.
