The Global 6000 is the BR710-powered predecessor to the Global 6500, offering 6,000 nautical miles of range and the same wide Global cabin for Mexico charter. It carries a larger charter fleet than the newer Global 6500, which means availability is a more realistic conversation on most Mexico trip dates.
Bombardier developed the Global 6000 from the Global Express XRS, powered by two Rolls-Royce BR710C4 turbofans. The cabin seats 13 in a typical three-zone configuration, up to 17 at maximum density, with a stand-up cabin and multiple lavatories. Range is 6,000 nautical miles.

Why the Global 6000 Fits Mexico
Mexico City to London at 5,500 nautical miles sits inside the Global 6000’s range with a moderate payload in suitable conditions. Mexico City to New York at roughly 2,200 nautical miles, Monterrey to Houston at under 500 nautical miles: the aircraft handles every major Mexico corridor without range entering the equation. Toluca’s 8,460-foot elevation requires hot-and-high performance planning on each trip.
Against the Global 6500, the Global 6000 carries the same cabin on a slightly shorter range with slightly higher fuel burn from the BR710 engines. On most Mexico and US-to-Mexico routings inside 5,500 nautical miles, the difference is a rate question rather than a capability question.
A larger Global 6000 charter fleet means scheduling flexibility is generally better than the newer 6500, particularly on peak Mexico travel dates: Christmas, Easter, and major event weeks at Cancun and Los Cabos.
