Why the Boeing 747-8F Fits Mexico
The argument for the 747-8F over the 400F on a Mexico intercontinental routing is the same as on any long-haul freighter run: more payload per dollar of fuel burn, lower noise footprint at night-operation airports, and a newer airframe that is typically easier to schedule with an operator. On a Mexico to European manufacturing plant route, those factors add up.
