On a private charter the animal travels in the cabin. Operators set their own policies on animals, crate requirements and cabin arrangements, so this is confirmed with the specific operator before booking.
Mexican Import Requirements
Mexico applies its own animal import requirements, and they are the client’s responsibility to satisfy. We confirm the current requirements with the operator and the ground handler before the trip and tell you what documentation the animal needs before you travel.
Larger Animals and Multiple Pets
Two large dogs change the cabin arrangement and sometimes the aircraft. Tell your advisor the number, size and whether the animals travel crated at the first call, because it affects the aircraft recommendation more than most owners expect.

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.

Mexico Patterns We Plan Around
Two things shape almost every Mexico charter regardless of the reason for the trip. The first is lead time. Landing and customs permits are applied for after a trip has been secured on the aircraft schedule, and the timeline is sometimes set by the local airport authorities, so the earlier you book, the more room we have to work with. The second is elevation. Toluca, the main Mexico City private jet gateway, sits at 8,460 feet, and on a warm afternoon its density altitude can pass 11,000 feet, which changes what an aircraft can lift.
