Mexico is one of the most popular bachelor and bachelorette destinations in the Americas, and Cancun, Tulum, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta take most of that traffic. Chartering the group in together is usually the difference between the weekend starting on arrival and starting after everyone finally lands.
Getting the Group There Together
A party of eight to fourteen split across three airline itineraries loses most of a day. Miami to Cancun at around 750 miles and Los Angeles to Los Cabos at roughly 900 miles both sit within light to super midsize range, and a single aircraft puts the whole group on the ground at once.
Tulum Without the Road Transfer
Tulum has had direct jet access since Felipe Carrillo Puerto International opened in December 2023, which removes the two-hour road transfer from Cancun that used to eat the first afternoon. Its runway runs 12,139 feet, which takes any aircraft in this class. As a newer airport, we confirm the general aviation terminal’s operating hours before planning an early-morning or late-night arrival.
Peak Weekends and Parking
Spring break through March and April is the tightest window on the Mexican coast, and the constraint is ramp and hangar space rather than available aircraft. For a peak-season weekend, two to three weeks of notice is realistic. Left later, the trip can usually still be flown, but the departure time starts being dictated by parking rather than by preference.

Mexico Patterns We Plan Around
Two things shape almost every Mexico charter regardless of the reason for the trip. The first is lead time. Landing and customs permits are applied for after a trip has been secured on the aircraft schedule, and the timeline is sometimes set by the local airport authorities, so the earlier you book, the more room we have to work with. The second is elevation. Toluca, the main Mexico City private jet gateway, sits at 8,460 feet, and on a warm afternoon its density altitude can pass 11,000 feet, which changes what an aircraft can lift.
