Scheduling Around the Carpet
Red-carpet windows close hours before a broadcast and rehearsal calls generally land the day before. We build the inbound leg to arrive with room for both, and hold the return for the following morning rather than the same night, because a post-ceremony departure is the leg most likely to slip.
Departing from the Mexico City Gateway
Toluca and Felipe Ángeles are the private jet gateways for Mexico City; Benito Juárez is effectively closed to routine private charter. Toluca’s 8,460-foot elevation means a full-payload departure to the US West Coast usually calls for a super midsize or larger, which is worth settling early when a group and its wardrobe are traveling together.
Wardrobe, Crew and Discretion
Garment volume is the constraint clients most often underestimate. Formal wardrobe for a party of six takes more baggage space than the same six people on a business trip. Tell your advisor the garment count on the first call and we will match the aircraft to it rather than to the seat count alone.

- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.

Mexico Patterns We Plan Around
Two things shape almost every Mexico charter regardless of the reason for the trip. The first is lead time. Landing and customs permits are applied for after a trip has been secured on the aircraft schedule, and the timeline is sometimes set by the local airport authorities, so the earlier you book, the more room we have to work with. The second is elevation. Toluca, the main Mexico City private jet gateway, sits at 8,460 feet, and on a warm afternoon its density altitude can pass 11,000 feet, which changes what an aircraft can lift.
